Conference Information
Eating on Campus
Cornell Dining publishes a live listing of every campus eatery, showing the day’s hours and whether each one is open at that moment: Cornell Dining Now. The listing is grouped into Central, North and West campus. All three conference venues are on Central campus, so the Central tab is the place to start.
Hours change from day to day. Use the date selector near the top of that page to check September 17, 18 and 19 before you travel, and note that the Saturday may not follow the same pattern as the weekdays.
Closest to Warren Hall
- Mann Café, in Mann Library on the Ag Quad, is the nearest, roughly a minute away.
- Trillium and Bus Stop Bagels, both in Kennedy Hall, are a short walk across the Ag Quad.
- Cornell Dairy Bar, in Stocking Hall, is a little further out, about a seven or eight minute walk.
In the poster session venues
- Goldie’s Café is inside the Physical Sciences Building, where the Thursday evening poster session and reception are held.
- Martha’s Café, in Martha Van Rensselaer Hall, is next door to the Human Ecology Building, where the Friday evening poster session and reception are held.
Cornell Dining also publishes an eatery map showing where each one is on campus.
Finding the Conference Venues
All three venues are on the Cornell University campus in Ithaca, New York. The walking routes below are the ones ISMP recommends. They are not always the route a mapping app will suggest, and the Human Ecology Building in particular is hard to find from the standard directions, so please follow these. Look for ISMP signs and volunteers along the way.

Cornell asks visitors driving to campus to set their GPS to the Martin Y. Tang Welcome Center, 616 Thurston Avenue, Ithaca, NY 14853, and to continue from there on foot or by campus bus.

Travel to Ithaca
ISMP 2026 will take place at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. Ithaca is a small city in Central New York, and travel often involves a combination of options, including flights, buses, rental cars, taxis, rideshare, or driving. We encourage attendees to compare routes carefully and allow extra time when planning connections.
Attendees may arrive directly in Ithaca through Ithaca Tompkins International Airport (ITH), travel through Syracuse Hancock International Airport (SYR), or use other regional airports such as Elmira, Binghamton, or Rochester. Syracuse is often a useful option because it may offer more flight availability, with ground transportation available to Ithaca by car service, rental car, taxi, or rideshare.
International attendees will almost certainly need to connect through a larger U.S. airport before continuing to Ithaca. Some travelers may find it convenient to fly into the New York City area and continue to Ithaca by bus, rental car, or connecting flight.
Bus service is also available to Ithaca from several cities, including New York City. Because schedules, routes, rates, and availability can change, please check current information before booking. For more detailed travel guidance, download the ISMP 2026 Travel Guide.
Parking and Campus Transportation
If you plan to drive to campus, please review Cornell’s Visitor Parking Information before arriving for current parking options, locations, rates, and instructions. Parking regulations and availability vary across campus, so we recommend checking the information in advance and allowing extra time when you arrive.
For local bus routes, fares, and schedules, visit TCAT. You can also use Cornell Maps for campus locations and transportation information.
